We were both freshman and he could be described then as a hippy surfer. He undoubtedly went to Cal Western because the surf was so good for San Diego and S. Cal. At that time he went by "Anthony." I talked to him a couple of time and found him to be very aloof and "soft." Girls loved him because he was good looking and also quite eccentric, even then. I am sorry he's gone.
